The Gambian Association in Minnesota sent COVID-19 care packages to support 70 vulnerable households in The Gambia. The food items purchased from #Karlilu.com include 70, 10L gallons of oil and 70, 25kg bags of rice.
The items were presented to the National Disaster Management Agency – The Gambia on the 27th July 2020 by the Household Disaster Resilience Project – Help (known as HELP-Gambia) on behalf of our community. Immediately after the presentation, the packages were transported and delivered to the beneficiaries in the rural Gambia by HELP-Gambia Volunteers with the support of the Regional Disaster Coordinator in LRR, Momodou BK Ceesay.
Once again, the executive of the Gambian Association in Minnesota wishes to profoundly thank the members of our community for their generosity.
We also wish to use this opportunity to send many thanks to #HELPGambia Volunteers Dawda Cham & Alieu Jallow as well as the #NDMA staff for their support and cooperation.
